Dr. Neil Gorme is a dual-degree oral and maxillofacial surgeon serving patients in Baytown, Texas. A native Houstonian, he has practiced oral and maxillofacial surgery since 1999 and provides comprehensive surgical care for conditions affecting the teeth, jaws, mouth, and facial structures.
Education and Dental Training
Dr. Gorme earned his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Houston.
He then earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston, now known as the UTHealth Houston School of Dentistry. During dental school, Dr. Gorme was recognized as the outstanding senior in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Medical Degree and Oral Surgery Residency
Dr. Gorme earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University in Brooklyn.
He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he subsequently served as chief resident.
Military Service
Dr. Gorme proudly served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps, completing six years of active-duty service.

Dr. Gorme has been in private practice since 1999. In 2007, he was appointed Associate Chief of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at St. Luke’s Hospital in Houston, now known as Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center.
